God Alone Is Creator

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

The Bible begins with God as the single acting subject who creates heaven and earth.

Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

Job explicitly says God alone stretched out the heavens.

Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

The Redeemer declares that He made all things, stretched out heaven alone, and spread out earth by Himself.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

God’s word and breath are His own effective self-expression, not assistant creators beside Him.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Nothing created came into being without the Word. John places the Word inside the Creator’s own work.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Every realm was created through Christ and for Christ. He cannot be part of the created class.

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

The God who now speaks in the Son is the God who made the ages through His climactic self-revelation.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Heaven worships the One on the throne because He created all things by His will.
