“Calling Jesus the Father denies the Son.”
The Son is real: the holy child born, the man Christ Jesus, and the human mediator. Yet Jesus says the Father dwells in Him and that seeing Him reveals the Father.
What the objection is claiming
Identifying the Father in Christ is assumed to erase the incarnate Son’s real humanity and relationship to God.
John 14:9-10

How the passages answer it
Father names God in divine relation and action; Son names the real incarnate life born in time. The Father is not the Son’s humanity, but the Father is fully in the Son. Isaiah can therefore call the born child Mighty God and Everlasting Father without denying His Sonship.
