Manifestation is revelation in reality
First Timothy 3:16 says God was manifest in flesh. Manifestation means God became visible and knowable in a genuine human life. It does not mean the flesh was imaginary.
John says the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The movement is from God’s eternal self-expression to real human existence.
The humanity is complete
Jesus grows, hungers, sleeps, learns obedience through suffering, prays, wills, bleeds, and dies. These are not staged actions. The Son shares our flesh and blood and can truly represent us.
Denying the humanity destroys mediation, sacrifice, resurrection, and the gospel. Apostolic Oneness must never turn incarnation into a divine costume.
The deity is not diluted
The fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Christ. God does not place a fraction of Himself in Jesus or send a lesser deity to represent Him.
The one person Jesus Christ is the meeting of full deity and complete humanity. We distinguish what belongs to God’s eternal Spirit and what belongs to the assumed human life without dividing Christ.
Hold manifestation and humanity together
Label each text deity, humanity, or both. What is lost if either category is removed?
- The Word truly becomes flesh.

- The fullness dwells bodily while Christ truly shares human weakness and temptation without sin.

- The act by which God’s Word became genuine flesh in Jesus Christ.

- God making Himself visible, knowable, and active in the real human life of Christ.
That is careless modalistic language, not biblical Oneness. The Son possesses genuine human body, mind, will, experience, suffering, and death.
